Blockchain Appliances will Reduce Environmental Strains
The entrepreneur explained that the concept developed from their father’s troubles in negotiating with the same purchasers for his soybean and corn output on a farm in the interior of Rio Grande do Sul. Contact with producers who operate warehouses and the entrepreneur claims aided the adoption of good practice criteria such as environmental compliance and carbon balancing for the blockchain appliances.
The CEO added that, in addition to lowering the danger of sensitive information such as the Rural Environmental Registry (CAR) being leaked, blockchain reduces the distance between producers and the worldwide market, increasing the likelihood of profit.
The Blockchain Organization will Serve many Farmers
Eduarda Schneider noted that their organization serves 750 farmers in eight Brazilian states and has 27 registered buyers. Blockchain could become a part of this organization. In order to service the European Union (EU), the firm has offices in Brazil and a representation in Portugal, with intentions to open a representation in China. In terms of goods, the firm uses Amazon-grown soy, corn, organic rice, coffee, and nuts.
Antonio Loureiro, the co-founder of the company, also emphasized the necessity of blockchain and traceability in foreign marketplaces, saying, “This, in a transparent, secure, traceable, and auditable way, also demystifies everything.” It not only provides all valid information and statistics for all items but also for more delicate problems, such as Amazon, which is a global concern.”
