Binance has officially announced the listing of Scroll (SCR) token, set to go live on October 22, 2024. The exchange will offer four trading pairs for Scroll, including SCR/BTC, SCR/USDT, SCR/FDUSD, and SCR/TRY. Users can start depositing SCR tokens on October 21, with withdrawals becoming available on October 23.
Trading Details and Important Dates
Binance, one of the world’s leading cryptocurrency exchanges, will open spot trading for Scroll (SCR) on October 22, 2024, at 08:00 (UTC). The trading pairs SCR/BTC, SCR/USDT, SCR/FDUSD, and SCR/TRY will be available for users. Additionally, deposits for Scroll will open on October 21, 2024, at 10:00 (UTC), while withdrawals will be enabled starting October 23 at 08:00 (UTC).
No listing fee will be applied for SCR, and users can access their deposit addresses for Scroll starting on October 21. Binance also confirmed that USDT deposits and withdrawals on the Scroll network are now fully active.
Scroll Token and ‘Seed’ Label
Scroll is an Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) compatible zkEVM Rollup solution, which aims to enhance the scalability and privacy of Ethereum transactions. Binance will list the token with a ‘Seed’ label, indicating that SCR is an innovative and potentially high-risk asset due to its volatility.
Binance has advised users to perform their own research and apply risk management strategies when trading the Scroll token, as newly launched tokens tend to have higher price fluctuations.
Key Information on Spot Trading and Withdrawal Times
The exchange emphasized that the listed withdrawal times are estimates, and users should check the withdrawal page for real-time updates. Additionally, spot copy trading and trading bots will be activated within 24 hours after the listing goes live. For users already engaged in spot copy trading, they can add their preferred trading pairs in their portfolio settings.
Binance also clarified that the TRY trading pair represents the Turkish lira fiat currency and does not include other digital assets. Users should note that all pre-market orders will be automatically canceled as the pre-market ends on October 21.
